Confirmation provides an opportunity for a person to make a public declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. For those baptised as children, it is an opportunity to confirm the promises made on their behalf in baptism.

Candidates are prepared for Confirmation through teaching them what it means to be a Christian and how to live as one to enable them to take responsibility for their own adult Christian lives. Confirmation classes at St James take place in on Sunday afternoons in Term 2. The Confirmation service typically takes place on the Sunday closest to St James Day (25 July).

More information about Confirmation will be released in Term 1 2018. If you wish to register interest in the course or have questions feel free to contact our Youth Minister, Chris Rooleht, who facilitates the Confirmation classes.
