Lunch with Friends is held on the second Thursday of each month, is very popular with retirees and others who are free during the day. St James’ members invite friends and neighbours to join them for lunch followed by a guest speaker. The friendly atmosphere and a great variety of relevant topics and speakers attract 70 to 100 people to the lunches each month. They are publicised through the church bulletin and special flyers which give details for booking. The cost is $10 per person. For further information contact Marg Hutchison ( or the church office.
