ALIVE TV streams live from 8.45am each Sunday, when we get to see how the kids got on in the previous week’s program, with a shout-out for great work they’ve shared.
The full weekly program starts at 10am on Sunday (after the 9am online service) on a separate platform.
You need to be on our distribution list to access this. If you are interested, please reach out on our contact page.
In the meantime, have a look at previous video snippets of ALIVE in the Big Tent here.
Each week we have a range of fun, praise & worship, games and easy crafts, and a short encouraging message. There’s something for everyone – your children from toddlers all the way to Yr 5s will find something they can do, relate to and hold onto, even in a time of immense change in their lives.
“A safe and caring environment where kids can be kids,
and the bible and having fun do come together!
I wish I was so lucky as a child!” – Michelle
We believe in keeping kids safe and loved. This includes online. That’s why all our leaders have both Working with Children Clearance and Safe Ministry Training.
“Safe ministry is of first priority to us in our ministries and community life at St James.
Children are made in God’s image, and are precious before him. We are committed to them
enjoying our church life in a safe and secure environment.” – David Smith, Rector
At St James we believe that parents are the primary spiritual carers for their children. That’s why we partner with you in teaching the kids about God’s goodness in difficult times – that he “is good when life is not”. (My Lighthouse
When things are back to normal and we can meet together at St James, our separate programs for and each age group will recommence:
Munchkins (4 year olds)
Alive (Kindy – Year 5)
The Revolution (Years 6-8)*
*Starts in the Gym hall at 9am
We are thankful for the many high school students who support our younger kids at ALIVE and make the time for them so fun.
“Our eldest daughter has been involved in running the AV equipment at Alive kids church for several years. During this time, we have watched her grow in confidence and ability, not just in operating equipment, but in joyful, committed service to the Lord. What a joy it is to see her using her gifts in church. Kids church has become one of her favourite parts of the week.” – Bec
